Getting to Prescott

Highways

Ontario highways 401 and 416 go through Grenville County, which connects to the USA via the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge and Hwy 37 in NY.

Rail

Prescott is located on VIA Rail’s principal Quebec City - Windsor corridor and is served by seven daily runs between Toronto and Montreal. Travelers may board and debark the train in Brockville (20 km west of Prescott).

Located just 15 minutes in Brockville, the airport offers many of the conveniences of a big city airport, without the heavy traffic and high costs usually encountered at these facilities.  The airport handles small aircraft but has plans in the works to handle larger craft soon.

Deep-Water Port

Operated by the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, the Port of Prescott handles many types of cargo in its deep-water port. The channel and berth depth is 8.23 metres, the crane lift capacity is done by a private firm with a 2,200 lbs/tonne capacity.
