Notice of Surplus Land - Property located north of the CN Rail line and south of Churchill Road from Boundary Street to Claxton Terrace

TAKE NOTICE THAT pursuant to the Town of Prescott By-Law 16-1995, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Prescott, at its meeting held on March 21, 2022, declared the real property located north of the CN Rail line and south of Churchill Road from Boundary Street to Claxton Terrace, Roll Numbers 070804004000401, 070804004019300, 070804004002300 (PLAN 36 PART 1 Parcel 1, PLAN 19 PT LOT C, PLAN 36 LOT E, and PLAN 36 PT PARCEL 1 RP 15R8332 Part 2) as surplus to the needs of the Corporation of the Town of Prescott.

THE SUBJECT PROPERTY is being deemed surplus for the purpose of future residential development that maintains a portion for public access to park space and provides for a multi-use path connecting Boundary Street with Claxton Terrace.

PURSUANT TO By-Law 16-1995, the Town of Prescott shall give public notice of the Surplus Land by causing such notice to be published in the local newspaper. This notice will also be posted on the Town’s website at www.prescott.ca.

ANYONE MAY SUBMIT written comments to the Chief Administrative Officer regarding the Notice of the Surplus Land. The deadline for submitting such comments shall be 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
