ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
EXPANSION OF PRESCOTT’S WATER AND WASTEWATER SYSTEMS
In 2021, the Town of Prescott and the Township of Augusta jointly completed a Lands Needs Study. The results of this study identified a mutual benefit for the extension of municipal water and wastewater services from Prescott into Augusta. The municipalities will study and then identify the infrastructure requirements to undertake the solution, as identified in the Land Needs Study.
The project is being planned following the Schedule C process in the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment 2003.

Public, Indigenous community and stakeholder input and comment are invited, for incorporation into the planning and design of this project and will be received until May 15, 2024. Subject to the identification of a preferred plan to expand the water and wastewater systems, and the receipt of the necessary approvals, the municipalities intends to proceed with this project in the next ten years.

Located at the east end of the Sandra S. Lawn Harbour and Marina, the Retail Cottage Pop-Ups offer retail cottages that vendors can merchandise to meet their needs.
Retail Cottages are available on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
Food trucks are welcome at the Waterfront Pop-Up site! Food trucks have access to power with a view of the St. Lawrence River.
Food Truck opportunities are available on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
The Rotary Lighthouse offers an opportunity for a seasonal vendor on Water Street in Prescott, just meters from the Retail Cottage Pop-up site.
Prescott Pop-Ups is a Town of Prescott initiative designed to support a vibrant waterfront experience that attracts visitors and supports entrepreneurs in the development and growth of their businesses.
This unique retail opportunity offers pop-up retail shops, as well as the Rotary Lighthouse, available for lease from May to October, during the peak tourism season.
Prescott Pop-Ups are located just east of the Sandra S. Lawn Harbour & Marina and at the Prescott Rotary Lighthouse.
Three pop-up site options are available:
Rotary Lighthouse Pop-Up Site
Approx. size = 250 sq. ft (ground floor area)
Available for full season rental only.
Shed Pop-Up Sites
Approx. size = 100 sq. ft (10ft. X 10 ft.)
Available for weekly, monthly, or full season rental. Priority will be given to full season vendors.
Mobile Food Truck Pop-Up Sites
Approx. size = 250 sq. ft (15ft. X 20 ft.)
Available for weekly, monthly, or full season rental.
